We have more access to the athletes we love to watch than ever before but with that has come the advent of public relations training and as a result it feels like we get less and less honesty from professional athletes each and every day, and in some cases for good reason.

That's why when a high profile player like Las Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Robin Lehner offers to do a brutally honest question and answer session with his fans, it is well worth your time to tune in. Over the weekend Lehner, who is currently on a trip through the Sahara desert, asked his fans to send him all of their questions so he could read them while traveling to his destination. Lehner claimed that no topic was off limits and promised to answer every question as truthfully as possible, and honestly I feel like he did a pretty good job.

Some of the most interesting questions from a hockey perspective came on the topic of players in the league, and again in this case Lehner appeared to give what where his genuine thoughts and feelings. Perhaps the most interesting on this front came after a question regarding the most talented player he has ever played with. Lehner gave a somewhat cryptic answer, going with only a last name, but there's no doubt he was referring to one of two players.

"Kane," wrote Lehner in response to the question.

While most will jump to the conclusion that Lehner is referring to former Chicago Blackhawks teammate Patrick Kane, it's also worth noting here that Lehner has always appeared to respect the game of former Buffalo Sabres teammate Evander Kane as well. I'll let you decide which one of the two he was referencing here.

On the topic of the best goaltender in the league, Lehner voluntarily offered up the answer himself. The Golden Knights netminder was asked specifically about Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price when he revealed that he feels Price is no longer the top dog in the league, instead giving that honor to Tampa Bay Lightning netminder Andrei Vasilevskiy.

"Great goalie but seems to be a better person. Not easy to be goalie in Canadian market," said Lehner before adding "But vasy is the best."

Last but not least, an always interesting question for a goaltender is who has the hardest shot in the league. Lehner was asked which shot that he has faced hurts the most when being blocked, and somewhat surprisingly he named Golden Knights sniper Max Pacioretty as his pick in that category.

Do you agree with Lehner's picks? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
